Annual Eye Exam


Annual eye exams are important to evaluate the health of the eye and diagnose vision impairments and disease. A comprehensive eye exam consists of a series of tests that are performed to determine your vision and the health of your eyes.


Glaucoma


Glaucoma is a group of eye diseases that causes damage to the optic nerve. This damage is usually caused when there is increased pressure inside the eye. Generally there are little or no symptoms. Glaucoma cannot be cured but can be controlled using eye drops with medication that timed to lower internal pressure.


Macular Degeneration


Macular degeneration is a disease that causes the loss of central vision when the macular deteriorates. The macula is the central part of the retina that allows you to read. Symptoms include blurriness or distortion in your central vision.

Visual Field


It is a way to measure the patient's central and peripheral vision. It is used to detect any signs of glaucoma, retinal disease and eyelid conditions.


Fundus Photos


It is a retinal photograph used to detect and monitor ocular health. A fundus photograph captures the optic nerve, blood vessels and macula. It can be used to detect glaucoma, macular degeneration, and retinal detachments.
